Who We Are
A Benedictine community
We are an international community of brothers living according to the Rule of St. Benedict and the tradition of the St. Ottilien Congregation. As such we strive to seek God and to proclaim Christ under a rule and an abbot, in a community that is a school of brotherly love.
Our brothers come from America, Korea, and Tanzania. Our days are ordered by prayer and work — ora et labora — in the Benedictine way, here on the hillside where the abbey has stood since 1924.
성 바오로 수도원은 성 베네딕도 규칙과 성 오틸리엔 연합회의 전통을 따라 사는 국제 수도 공동체입니다. 미국·한국·탄자니아에서 온 형제들이 기도와 노동(ora et labora) 안에서 하느님을 찾으며, 1924년부터 이 언덕에서 함께 살아왔습니다.
