Christmas Tree Farm
The relationship between St. Paul’s Abbey and Christmas trees goes back to the founding of the monastery. The Christmas tree farm began when the German brothers planted evergreen seedlings.
Since 2009, Brothers are using the organic farming methods.
There are various varieties of trees such as Colorado Spruce, Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir, Canaan Fir, White Pine, Norway Spruce, Korean Fir, and Nikko Fir.
The time of Christmas tree sale begins the day after Thanksgiving Day and ends Dec.23. This year (2019) the tree’s sale price is $52 (incl. Tax). Every Saturday and Sunday Koreans and American volunteers, especially the members of Knight of Columbus in St. Joseph parish in Newton, help us.
We seek volunteers to help us. If someone has interest to help us, please contact us.
