Fr. Philippus Han Yun-seung (韓允勝, 1911–1949) was born on June 9, 1911, in Yongjong, Kando. In November 1921, at the age of eleven, he entered the minor seminary of the Vicariate of Wonsan in Seoul, and after completing it began the major seminary course at Tokwon in 1930, studying philosophy and theology.
Ordained deacon on February 23, 1936, he was ordained a priest on Trinity Sunday, June 7, 1936, in the abbey church of Tokwon by Bishop Bonifatius Sauer — the first priestly ordination held at the Tokwon seminary. Abbot Theodor Breher (白化東) of Yenki attended, and a simple celebration followed.
Immediately after ordination Fr. Han was named assistant at the Mudanjiang parish, and in 1939 became third pastor of Sangsi parish in Yongjong. After Japan, having launched the Pacific War in 1941, expelled the American missionaries from Korea, Bishop Francis Hong Yong-ho of Pyongyang asked the neighboring jurisdictions for priests; Fr. Han was sent to the Diocese of Pyongyang, becoming fourteenth pastor of Yongyu in June 1943 and tenth pastor of Chinnampo in October 1945.
In September 1948, when the Yenki priests had to leave the Diocese of Pyongyang, he moved with Frs. Kim Chung-mu and Han To-jun to Hwanghae Province, under the Archdiocese of Seoul, becoming tenth pastor of Haeju. There he gave every help to the priests and faithful who came to Haeju seeking to escape to the South, introducing them to guides.
Because of this work he fell under the suspicion and surveillance of the authorities, and was finally implicated in the anti-communist leaflet incident of May 1949 in Haeju, being arrested on May 20 together with many of the faithful. The Haeju security police declared the affair the work of an underground anti-communist organization run by a southern political group with Fr. Han at its head. The Haeju people’s court sentenced him to fifteen years. His subsequent fate is unclear: he is said either to have been taken toward Sinuiju and killed during the war, or to have been buried alive on a sandbar by the sea near Haeju after his arrest.

한윤승 필립보 신부는 1911년 6월 9일 간도성 용정시에서 태어났다. 11세 때인 1921년 11월 서울에 위치한 원산 대목구 소신학교에 입학하였고, 소신학교를 졸업한 뒤 1930년 덕원 신학교에서 대신학교 과정을 시작하여 철학과 신학을 공부했다. 1936년 2월 23일 부제품을 받은 그는 1936년 6월 7일, 삼위일체 대축일에 신 보니파시오 주교의 주례로 덕원 수도원 성당에서 사제로 서품되었다. 이는 덕원 신학교 최초의 사제 서품식이었으며 여기에는 연길 교구장인 백 테오도로(Theodor, 白化東) 아빠스가 참석하였고 서품식 후에 소박한 축하식이 열렸다.
한윤승 신부는 사제서품 직후, 목단강 본당 보좌로 임명되었고, 1939년에는 용정 상시 본당의 3대 주임으로 전임되었다. 1941년 태평양 전쟁을 일으킨 일제가 한국에서 활동하던 미국인 선교사들을 국외로 추방한 후 평양 교구 홍용호 프란치스코 주교가 인근 교구에 사제 파견을 요청하였을 때, 한승윤 신부는 평양 교구로 파견되어 1943년 6월 영유 본당 14대 주임으로 부임하였다가 1945년 10월에는 진남포 본당 10대 주임으로 전임되었다.
1948년 9월에는 연길 교구 신부들이 평양교구를 떠나게 되면서 그를 비롯한 김충무, 한도준 신부 등은 서울 교구에 속한 황해도로 옮겼고 한윤승 신부는 해주 본당 10대 주임으로 부임하였다. 여기서 그는 월남하기 위해 해주를 찾아오는 신부와 신자들에게 안내인을 소개하는 등 많은 편의를 제공하였다.
이러한 그의 활동 때문에 한윤승 신부는 당국의 의심과 감시를 받고 있다가 결국 1949년 5월에 일어난 해주 시내 반공 유인물 살포 사건에 연루되어 5월 20일에 많은 신자들과 함께 체포되었다. 한윤승 신부를 체포한 해주시 정치보위부는 이 사건을 일으킨 배후조직이 한윤승 신부를 책임자로 하는 남한의 어느 정치세력에 의해 조직된 반공지하단체라고 하였다. 한윤승 신부는 해주시 인민재판소에서 15년 형을 언도받았다. 이후의 한윤승 신부의 행적은 분명하지 않지만 신의주 방면으로 끌려갔다가 6.25전쟁 때 살해되었거나, 체포 후에 해주 인근 바닷가 모래톱에 생매장되었다는 이야기가 있다.
